ABOUT VSIGNAL

About VSignal and Our Methodology

VSignal provides payroll calculators and PDF tools that work without installation or account registration. We publish how calculations are sourced and how files are processed instead of presenting unverified figures as official results.

Service principles

Payroll results are estimates for comparison and planning. They are not legal, tax, payroll, or benefits evidence, and actual deductions vary by employer and personal circumstances.

The PDF tools perform real work in the browser. When a file is unsupported, the tool reports the limitation instead of displaying a simulated result or redirecting the user to an advertisement.

2026 Korean payroll methodology

The salary calculator divides annual gross pay into 12 monthly payments, then estimates national pension, health insurance, long-term care insurance, employment insurance, income tax, and local income tax.

Separate taxation of bonuses, multiple income sources, employer-specific deductions, and regional or occupational exceptions are outside the calculator's scope.

Official sources and verification dates

The current table covers tax year 2026. Rates and effective dates are reviewed again before changes are made to the calculator.

How PDF files are processed

Merging, splitting, extracting, compressing, rotating, and converting PDF files runs locally in the user's browser. Selected files and PDF passwords are not uploaded to a VSignal server.

File-size and speed limits depend on device memory, the browser, and the PDF structure. Tools create a new output file instead of changing the original, so important results should be reviewed after download.

Scope and correction policy

The payroll calculator currently covers standard wage earners in KR for 2026. VSignal does not infer tax rates, insurance caps, or policy values that cannot be confirmed from official sources.

If explanatory text and calculated results disagree, the source and effective date are reviewed before the calculation is changed.
